However, each pub does have it’s own highlights, so we thought we would create a guide to help you choose which of our fantastic pubs with rooms to visit!

If it is a getaway filled with fresh air and long walks you are looking for, The Coniston Inn is ideal. Overlooked by the iconic Old Man of Coniston, The Coniston Inn sits on the edge of Coniston water, meaning you are only a stones through from the 14 mile walk around the shore. Why not push yourself with a longer walk, climbing the fell up to The Old Man of Coniston itself. This challenging walk scales over 2634ft and is about 10.5km, taking roughly 5 hours, so make sure to pack your hiking boots!
