Northumberland sister inn opens

The 30-bedroom new build pub is in the popular seaside town on Amble at the gateway to the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to the town’s popular harbour village, the RSPB seabird sanctuary of Coquet Island and spectacular Druridge Bay.

Like The Ambleside Inn will be, The Amble Inn is open all day, every day for homemade food, drinks and rooms. Giving a warm welcome to families, walkers, cyclists and pets alike, The Amble Inn is perfect for exploring the magnificent Northumberland coastline with family and friends with the assurance of the same great service, food and accommodation as The Coniston Inn.

The Amble Inn general manager Chris Taylor said: “The Amble Inn is a great new addition to Amble and Northumberland. The community here have been crying out for a hotel for many years.

“The Amble Inn fills a long-standing gap for all year-round, affordable accommodation, as well as providing people with a really lovely new environment to eat and drink in.

“We are looking forward to giving people a great experience whether they are staying, eating or enjoying a drink in the bar with us.”
