New head chef takes charge of Seaton Lane Inn kitchen

Jonny, who joins The Seaton Lane Inn from the Derwent Manor Hotel, has launched a new menu featuring flavour-packed seasonal dishes including figs roasted with mozzarella and bacon, pan-fried seabass with samphire and melting, slow-cooked lamb shanks.

The Seaton Lane Inn’s general manager Debbie Brown said: “Jonny’s appointment comes as The Seaton Lane Inn goes from strength to strength. He has a wealth of culinary knowledge and is such an exciting and talented chef.

“While we’re already well-known for our delicious, award-winning dishes and are proudly on the region’s foodie map, Jonny is passionate about taking our food to the next level while staying true to our pub heritage.”

Jonny’s appointment follows The Seaton Lane Inn’s major refurbishment earlier this year, which saw the inn undergo an exciting makeover of its dining and bar areas along with its bedrooms and the addition of a stunning new orangery centrepiece.

The Seaton Lane Inn is open daily for home-made food and a wide-range of drinks from breakfast through to evening meals.
