The Inn Collection Group welcomes new CFO

The Inn Collection Group is excited to announce Paul Edwards as its Chief Financial Officer.

Paul joined the group from local bus operator Go North East where he led the finance function, focusing on business partnering with operational, commercial and engineering teams to influence decision making, drive contract wins, review fare strategy, challenge process efficiency and deliver underlying profitability.

Go North East is a subsidiary of The Go-Ahead Group plc where Paul spent 9 years leading the group finance function, responsible to the main Board for reporting teams, key banking and debt relationships, and group internal and external audit.

The Inn Collection Group’s Managing Director, Sean Donkin, said: ‘We are very excited to welcome Paul Edwards as our new CFO. With a wealth of experience in Finance in one of the region’s largest companies, GoAhead, Paul will bring a skill set to the company which will assist with our systematic growth from a local into a regional company over the coming years. Paul joins The Inn Collection Group as its growth journey continues un growing its portfolio of pubs with rooms. The group was recently named Best Pub Employer (up to 500 employees) in the recent Publica Awards for the second year running, as well as The Amble Inn recently winning Silver in the North East Tourism Awards in the New Tourism Business category.

The Alchemy-backed group will continue to seek out new build and acquisition opportunities to grow across the North of England.
