Cash for Kids support adopted by The Inn Collection Group

Customers of The Inn Collection Group are being invited to support youngsters in need in their local communities this May and June, as the group’s network of Inns gets behind the Cash for Kids campaign.

The official charity of Metro Radio and TFM in the North East, Cash for Kids is a grant giving charity that operates across the UK and raises funds to support children experiencing poverty, abuse, neglect and distress.

Over the course of the next seven weeks, customers will have the option to make a £1 donation to the charity whilst paying their bill for food or drinks at any of the company’s warm and welcoming Inns.

Every penny raised will stay in the local area, meaning donations from The Inn Collection Group’s customers will be making a real difference to families in their communities and the charity guarantees that at least 90p in every £1 is granted back out to those in need.

Cash for Kids raises money throughout the year with its main campaigns being Cash for Kids Day and Mission Christmas, the annual gift and cash appeal helping to ensure every child wakes up to a present on Christmas Day.

This campaign is one that The Inn Collection Group will also be supporting in 2023, with details to be confirmed in the coming months.

Supporting the current fundraising drive couldn’t be easier, with the £1 donation able to be added to any bill by the bar staff at any of the 23 Inns currently open and trading.

Speaking as the campaign rolls out, managing director Sean Donkin said: “Putting people first is at the heart of what we do at The Inn Collection Group and I am delighted we have been able to arrange this opportunity for our customers to help us raise funds for a worthwhile cause.

“We’ve have been discussing how we could support Cash for Kids for a while and this campaign is a good place to start, ahead of a bigger involvement with Mission Christmas later in the year.

“Inns have always been a hub in their communities and by raising donations for Cash for Kids, we are ensuring that we are continuing to embrace that tradition at The Inn Collection Group
