Revenue Assistant

Reports to:                        Revenue Manager

Location:                           Head Office or Home Based options

Purpose of job                  

To assist the Revenue Management team to drive revenue growth across the ICG estate.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • System Configuration and Maintenance
    • Develop understanding of Revenue and Reservation Systems and software including Rezlynx, Roomlynx, Excel and IDeas – training may be required
    • Set up and maintenance of the Guestline Database
    • Set up and maintenance of Roomlynx Distribution and Direct Booking Manager (DBM) platform
    • Set up and Maintenance of Distribution Channels e.g. booking.com and expedia
    • Managing system close outs through all systems due to refurbishments
  • Yield Management
    • Work alongside the Revenue Manager to understand the yield management processes and development Revenue Management skill set
    • Assist the Revenue Manager with report preparation to assist with the weekly yield management of rooms.
    • Assist the Revenue Manager with implementation of price changes
    • Assist the Revenue Manager to understand competitive landscape for each site
    • Assist the Revenue Manager responding to site queries and issues
    • Undertake specific investigations or research to assist the Revenue Manager in maximizing site yield
  • Site Onboarding and Closures
    • Assist as required with the onboarding requirements of new site acquisitions
    • Assist as required with the closure requirements of refurbishment
  • Prepare briefs and documentation for sharing with site and/or central reservations

Shared Team Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with members of the Inn Collection team seeking to promote the business and business opportunities
  • Work closely with Reservations Manager to ensure Reservations have all the information and tools at their disposal to manage guest enquiries

 Key Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working with Rezlynx Reservation Management system
  • Experience of reservations an advantage
  • Experience of booking platform extranets an advantage
