If you’re off to Bassenthwaite to take in some nature, this next ‘to do’ activity is sure to delight you! Ospreys were extinct in the UK until their momentous return in 2001. They now make the long flight back from Africa when they spend the Winter, to their nest in Bassenthwaite when they stay from April until August.
